MINERSVILLE -- A six-hour standoff between an armed man and police ended early Wednesday morning in Schuylkill County.

It started around 8:30 Tuesday night at a home on Sunbury Street in Minersville.

Authorities said a man was upset after his girlfriend left him so he barricaded himself in the home with a shotgun.  Troopers used stun grenades to get the man out.

No one was hurt during the standoff.  State police arrested the man as he came out the home. His name has not yet been released by authorities.
