COAL TOWNSHIP --- A fire forced one person out of an apartment house in Northumberland County.
It started around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the first floor apartment of a house on West Arch Street near Shamokin.
The American Red Cross is providing food and shelter to the person who lived there.
The owner of the building says the second and third floors were empty.
A fire marshal is expected on the scene Wednesday to look for the cause of the fire in Northumberland County.
