WOODWARD TOWNSHIP — There were plenty of hugs to go around in Lock Haven, Lewisburg, and Williamsport.

Members of the 55th Armor Brigade are home from their tour in the Middle East. They landed in Harrisburg then headed off in busses back to our area.

One dad hadn’t seen his 2-year-old daughter since November.

“Oh, it was amazing. I’ve been waiting for this every day since the day we left. I was counting down the days. I just couldn’t wait to get home and see these guys,” Sgt. Larry Hill of Lock Haven.

“I’ve been crying all day. It’s been a long haul. It’s hard. She went through her terrible two’s without him,” said Abby Hill.

There are a lot of families in our area enjoying being back together after many months apart.
