HAZLETON — A Luzerne County judge handed down a sentence Wednesday for a man from Hazleton charged with fraud.
Joseph Yesvetz, 57, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for filing a false claim meant to help those dealing with work related health injuries.
Authorities said Yesvetz filed a claim on behalf of his father who died in 2001 then collected the money himself.
In addition to jail time, Yesvetz must pay $150,000 in restitution.
