ARCHBALD -- Police in Lackawanna County arrested two men who they believe were circulating counterfeit money.

Officers arrested Bernard Banks and Terrance Johnson at a motel in Archbald on Sunday.

Archbald's chief claim the pair had about $1,500 worth of counterfeit bills.  Police said Banks and Johnson have been using the fake cash for the past few months.

The men are being held at the state prison in Waymart in Wayne County because they were also wanted on state parole violations.
