MAHONING TOWNSHIP — Police say a man from Monroe County, wanted in connection with a jewelry theft at a Walmart in Carbon County, was taken into custody on Saturday.

Sean Dohn, 22, of Kunkletown, is being held at the Monroe County prison awaiting an arraignment, according to Mahoning Township police.

Investigators say Dohn cut a security cable on a jewelry display case at the Walmart in Mahoning Township on Wednesday and stole $1,000 worth of jewelry.

Authorities said Dohn may have committed a similar theft at another Walmart in the Poconos.
