BUTLER TOWNSHIP -- Part of Route 309 in Luzerne County was closed for several hours Sunday afternoon after two sports utility vehicles collided.
Video of the crash as it happened was sent to Newswatch 16 from a viewer.
It happened around 1 p.m near the Old Stagecoach Inn in Butler Township.
Police say one person had to be cut out of the Jeep and is in critical condition at the hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital.
Neither driver's names have been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
