WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP --- Parishioners of a church hit twice by vandals gathered for their first Sunday evening service since their house of worship was desecrated.

Newswatch 16 stopped by God's Missionary Church near Milton Sunday for the evening worship service.

It was last Tuesday and Wednesday when vandals broke into the church twice, painting graffiti and urinating on electronic equipment.

Investigators say the vandals also stole candy but left the cash alone.

Church leaders say they are waiting for insurance adjusters to come to the building to assess the cost of the damage.

State police tell Newswatch 16 they found fingerprints at the church, but so far no one has been charged for that church burglary in Union County.
