YATESVILLE --- Economic issues will force the closure of another school in our area.
The Pittston Area School Board voted seven to one Thursday night to close the Ben Franklin Kindergarten Center.
The board says the closure should save the district about $300,000.
District leaders say the kindergarten students will join first graders at Pittston Area's Primary Center at the beginning of the upcoming school year.
