COAL TOWNSHIP -- An inmate is in trouble after authorities said he attacked a corrections officer at the state prison in Northumberland County.
Prison officials said prisoner Michael Lassiter entered the dining hall just before noon Wednesday and struck an officer in the head.
The victim was treated at Shamokin Hospital for his injuries.
