WILKES-BARRE — Officers in Wilkes-Barre were led on a chase in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Responders said the chase started around 2:00 a.m. on Blackman Street. When officers arrived, authorities claim a car pulled out with no headlights.
Police tried to pull the car over, but it took off. After a chase, responders tell Newswatch 16 two people ditched the car on Puritan Lane and ran.
Wilkes-Barre police have not said if anyone is in custody or why the people would not pull over.
