MOOSIC --- On one of the busiest nights of the season for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, the lights went out at the ballpark.

With thousands of fans in the ballpark to see Derek Jeter play for the local Triple-A team, the lights suddenly went out in about half the stadium.

The game had to be stopped and Jeter helped appease the folks in the stands by signing autographs during the unexpected intermission.

No word what caused the partial blackout.

After about 20 minutes, the lights came back on and the game resumed.
