Police: Man Found with Drugs After Motorcycle Crash

MAHONING TOWNSHIP -- Investigators in Carbon County claim a man involved in a motorcycle crash was found in possession of drugs.

The wreck happened Saturday afternoon along Route 902 in Mahoning Township.

Police said Terrance Roberts, 23, of Lehighton lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into a stone wall.  The bike then caught fire.

Police said officers found Roberts about a half mile away hiding under a pine tree.  According to authorities, they found more than a dozen packets of heroin on him.

Officers said he was also driving with a suspended license at the time of the crash.
