PITTSTON TOWNSHIP — It was a homecoming fit for a hero in Lackawanna County Tuesday night.
Family and friends of Specialist Joshua Rusak greeted him as he got off a plane at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.
Specialist Rusak, from Vandling, spent the past nine months at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.
“Its always great to be home, a much better place. Its great to be back,” said Rusak.
He told Newswatch 16 the first thing he is going to do now that he is home is to go out and eat some pizza.
