HAZLETON — A man is locked up in the Luzerne County prison after police said he chased two women with a gun through the streets of Hazelton.
Francis Lara of Hazleton is charged with multiple counts of assault and terroristic threats.
Police said Lara chased a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman from the 500 block of West Maple Street to the 20 block of North Locust Street around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
Investigators have not given a reason for the assault in Hazleton.
