MOSCOW -- A psychiatrist with a practice in Moosic was dead at the scene of a crash early Friday morning along Interstate 380 in Lackawanna County.
The coroner identified the man as Dr. Danilo DeSoto, 50, of Moscow.
The wreck happened just before 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-380 near the Moscow exit.
State police say DeSoto's car was headed south on Interstate 380. The car went out of control, crossed the median into the northbound lanes, hit the tractor-trailer and caught fire.
The truck driver from New Jersey was not hurt.
An autopsy on DeSoto is scheduled for Saturday.
