BOWMANSTOWN — Investigators are searching for two men who broke into a restaurant and a mini-mart in Carbon County over a three day span.

According to police, the latest burglary happened Monday around 3:30 a.m. at Lorenzo’s Pizza on Lincoln Avenue in Bowmanstown. Officers said the convenience store next to Lorenzo’s was burglarized overnight last weekend.

Police said two men went through a window of the pizza shop.  When they got inside, officers said the men unsuccessfully attempted to open the cash register.  The burglars then grabbed the register and ran off.

Police believe the same men robbed the convenience store next door two nights prior.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
