SCRANTON -- This season of ABC's dancing with the stars is over but the 8th season of Dancing With The NEPA Stars is just getting started.
The show is Thursday night but Newswatch 16 stopped by rehearsal Wednesday night in Scranton.
Two local celebrities will put their dance moves to the test at the Scranton Cultural Center for the annual contest.
Local singer Erin Malloy will dance against local artist, Jack Puhl, in this year's 40s, and 50's themed event.
There will be live music provided by Jack Martin. The dancers have been working for several months on their routines, and are ready for showtime.
WNEP is a sponsor of Dancing With The NEPA Stars.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Scranton Cultural Center box office.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m Wednesday.
