For all you chocolate and peanut butter lovers out there, listen up! Chips Ahoy has come out with new chocolate cookies that are made with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and to find out if they taste as good as they look, Newswatch 16 made a stop at Kirby Park in Luzerne County to find out for this week's Taste Test.

Many of us have tried Chips Ahoy cookies and the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups candy. But what you might not have heard of yet is the cookie that combines both of them!

Chips Ahoy has come out with new chewy chocolate cookies that are made with milk chocolate Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

We found Roman Dretzel walking with his grandfather, he was eager to try the new cookies.

Michelle: "Tell me about it what did it taste like?"

Roman: "Chocolate."

Michelle: "What else?"

Roman: "Peanut butter."

Michelle: "And was it good?"

Roman:"Yeah."

Michelle: "Do you want some more of these?" Roman:"Yeah."

And he wasn't joking. He made himself a cookie sandwich and took a big bite!

After asking some kids what they thought, the parents jumped right in to try some too.

"It's very chewy, um I like the peanut butter. I like Reese's so they're really good."

"Michelle: "Does it taste like the candy?"

Gabrielle:"Yeah, you can taste the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups," said Gabrielle Remphrey of Wilkes Barre.

"Everything's good for a pregnant woman," she added.

As we walked around the park, we found these kids who say they all love cookies. So of course I had to let them try the new flavor!

"They taste really good."

Michelle: "Why?"

Morgan: "I like Reese's Pieces and I'll eat them in anything," said Morgan Bobkowshy of Forty Fort.

While most kids and adults liked the new cookies some say they weren't anything special.

"I like them. I mean, I don't know if I would make a special trip and go out and buy them but they're pretty good. Not too bad," said Molly Malinowski of Wilkes-Barre.

Over all the kids gave the cookies a thumbs up. Some of the adults decided they were just so-so.

We found these cookies at Gerrity's for $3.79 a pack.
