CLARKS SUMMIT — Child sex charges have been filed against a former corrections officer from Lackawanna County.
Police accuse Stephen Cardamone, 46, from Clarks Summit of engaging in sexual acts with a 16-year-old girl.
Authorities say it happened between May and October of 2007 at Cardamone’s house in Clarks Summit.
Officers say Cardamone gave the girl cigarettes in exchange for sexual favors because she was underage and unable to buy them on her own.
He now faces a long list of charges which includes indecent exposure and corruption of minors.
