The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders AAA baseball team sits 11 games out of the division lead in the IL North here on June 19th, 2013 with a record of (31-39). They also have a losing home record of (14-21) at PNC Field and sit near the bottom in many offensive categories in the International League.
Tuesday the New York Yankees recalled Zoilo Almonte from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to help with the big league club, and that same day also recalled Adam Warren.
On Wednesday Fernando Martinez was traded from the Oklahoma City Redhawks to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Also pitcher Francisco Rondon assigned to Scranton from Trenton.
