Williams Valley claimed the girl's "A" state softball title with a 13-0 win over Neshannock in 6 innings on Friday at the Nittany Lion softball Park on the campus of Penn State University.
The Lady Vikings entered the state tournament as the District 11 champion then proceeded to have wins over Bloomsburg 8-0, Hyndman Charter 12-2 at Lebanon Valley College and finally a 2-1 come from behind victory over NE Bradford 2-1 at Bloomsburg University.
