WEST PITTSTON – A contractor wanted for allegedly skipping out on repairing a huge hole in a single mother’s roof surrendered to police in Luzerne County.

Lemire Brown of Albrightsville was charged with felony home improvement fraud.

After posting $500 bail, Brown didn’t answer any questions when leaving the arraignment in West Pittston.

Brown’s defense attorney told Newswatch 16 that Brown hasn’t had a Better Business Bureau complaint or civil suit since he started Brown and Brown Home Improvement about a decade ago.
