DANVILLE -- If you live near Danville and like bacon you're in luck! Old Forge Brewing Company, on Mill Street is hosting its third annual Bacon Fest this week.
On the menu are lots of unique and tasty dishes featuring bacon.
For those of you who are not watching your weight, check out the bacon torpedo. It's one and a half pounds of bacon, filled with sausage.
Employees say Bacon Fest is one of the busiest weeks of the year at Old Forge Brewing.
"We've gone through 90 pounds already. I've got another 45 pounds today and I'll get another 45 pounds in tomorrow," said Steve Leitzel, Old Forge Brewing Company chef.
Employees say there is even a bacon ice cream for dessert.
Bacon Fest runs through Sunday at Old Forge Brewing Company in Danville.
