SCRANTON — The former chief executive of the Pocono Mountain Charter School pleaded guilty Thursday morning to federal tax evasion.
Dennis Bloom, 58, from Mount Pocono, covered his face with an umbrella as he entered the federal courthouse in Scranton.
He was indicted in March.
Bloom was also the pastor of Shawnee Tabernacle Church in Monroe County.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
