POTTSVILLE — The man who died in a fire in Pottsville last month along with five members of his family had drugs in his system at the time of his death, according to authorities.

The Schuylkill County coroner said Eric Brown tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

Brown died in the blaze along with his four children, and his sister-in-law in the huge fire in May.

There were no working smoke alarms in the home.
