The Hughesville Spartans baseball team lost to Salisbury 9-5 last Thursday in the quarterfinal round of state play at Pine Grove. After beating Loyalsock in the District IV "AA" championship game the Spartans then won their first round game with a 2-0 win over Kutztown.
