TOWANDA — Towanda State Police have charged a Bradford County man with aggravated assault and related charges after an 89-year old man was shot following a domestic incident.
It happened early Wednesday morning at a residence in Monroeton.
State Troopers say John Petros, 60, got into an argument with an 89-year-old man.
That’s when they say that Petros pulled a handgun, a struggle ensued and the victim received a gunshot to the groin.
The alleged victim survived.
Petros is locked up on $75,000 bail.
