STROUD TOWNSHIP -- Police are investigating a deadly crash in Monroe County.
The crash happened around 7 p.m Tuesday in Stroud Township, near East Stroudsburg.
Stroud Area Regional Police said the driver of the car veered off Cherry Lane Road and hit a stone wall.
Officers said he was taken to a hospital where he died.
The coroner's office identified the victim as John Doatch, 55, from Metuchen, New Jersey.
Police believe the driver may have suffered a medical condition that led to the crash.
Cherry Lane Road was closed for several hours after the crash in Monroe County.
