SCRANTON -- A former member of the Scranton School Board has agreed to plead guilty to the online enticement of minors.

Mark Kandel of Peckville turned himself in to face federal charges last December.

The U.S. Attorney's office says a plea agreement was filed in federal court in Scranton Tuesday. It calls for at least 13 years but up to 19 years in prison for the former educator who also once worked for NEIU 19 in Archbald.

A judge must still approve Kandel's guilty plea.
