HAZLETON -- A halfway house in Luzerne County that has been the source of several problems is likely to close.
There is information that the state will not renew its contract with the operators of the halfway house on Broad Street in Hazleton.
When the property was owned and operated by a group known as Minsec, several residents were arrested for various crimes.
Hazleton leaders have pushed for the past two years to get the facility closed.
