Abington Heights vs. Jersey Shore Baseball

Josh Slocum had the game winning hit in the bottom of the ninth inning for the Abington Heights Comets helping them to a 4-3 win over Jersey Shore in the opening round of the AAA high-school state baseball playoffs. With Tyler Ksiazek on first base-Slocum hit one hard to right field in between two Bulldog defenders and without hesitation Ksiazek charged around 2nd and 3rd and slide safely into home with the game winning run.

Abington Heights moves on in state play and will resume their run towards Penn State on Thursday in the state quarterfinals.
