Woman Dead After Being Pulled from Water

CLINTON TOWNSHIP -- An autopsy Monday listed accidental drowning as the cause of death for a woman who died after being pulled from a creek in Wyoming County.

Firefighters were called to a creek Near Lithia Valley Road outside Factoryville around 1 p.m. A couple dialed 911 after seeing three swimmers in trouble.

Chastity Cobb, 34, from Hop Bottom was pulled out of the water and taken to the hospital where she later died.

The two other swimmers were taken to the hospital after the water rescue as well.
