TAYLOR — Police are looking for a man they say tried to abduct a teenager in Lackawanna County.
Taylor Police said the man was in a car when he pulled up to a 13-year-old girl walking along the the 100 block of Keyser Avenue in Taylor on Sunday.
Authorities said the man yelled at the girl to get in the car.
The teen, who was on the phone with her mother at the time, ran to a nearby store.
The man is described as an African American man with a long goatee and a mole on the right side of his face near his nose.
He was driving a smaller gold sedan.
Anyone with information about the attempted abduction should call Taylor police.
