WILKES-BARRE -- Police in Wilkes-Barre say someone stole some of their speed-detection equipment.

Officers say someone stole the equipment set up along Wilkes-Barre Boulevard on Memorial Day.

The officer using the equipment went to help out on a call and when he returned, it was gone.

Wilkes-Barre Police value the equipment at $5,000.
