EXETER — Authorities in part of Luzerne County arraigned a woman Tuesday morning on theft and other charges.
Police in Exeter believe a bookkeeper, Patricia Avery, 49, of Falls Township, overpaid herself and signed her bosses name to checks without his permission at two auto dealerships.
Officers accuse her of overpaying herself about $50,000 over three years at one of the dealerships in Luzerne County.
Avery faces charges of theft, receiving stolen property, and forgery.
