LOWER TOWAMENSING TOWNSHIP — We now know the name of a man killed in a crash in Carbon County.
The wreck happened just before 9 p.m. Friday on Lower Smith Gap Road near Palmerton.
State police said John Dooley, 49, of Kunkletown died after his car went off the road, crashed into a tree, and rolled down an embankment.
Troopers are investigating what caused the deadly crash.
