NEWFOUNDLAND — A lane on Interstate 84 in Wayne County was closed Friday morning due to a tractor-trailer fire.
State police said a rig on the side of the interstate near the Newfoundland/Hamilin exit caught fire around 3:45 a.m.
Troopers said the driver was able to escape the truck safely.
One lane on Interstate 84 east is closed while crews tow the truck.
