CANTON — State police said a gun used in a murder suicide early in May in Bradford County was given to the suspect illegally.

Kimberly Chisman is facing charges for allegedly buying and giving a gun to her husband Curtis Chisman because he was forbidden, by law, from purchasing one himself.

Troopers said Curtis Chisman used the gun to shoot and kill a woman at a home in Canton, then turned the gun on himself.
