LEWISBURG — School district officials in Union County locked down schools in the Lewisburg Area School District Wednesday morning.

They were concerned after a school bus driver found a bag containing three magazines for an air gun and some plastic pellets.

All of the schools in the Union County district were on lockdown for about 20 minutes while police investigated the incident.

District officials say the air gun magazines and pellets were still in their original packaging.

They identified the student who had them on a surveillance video from the bus and officials say that student could be disciplined.
