UNION TOWNSHIP — A summer cabin in Union County has heavy damage after a fire Tuesday.

Shortly before 9 a.m. neighbors said they heard a popping noise and saw the house on River Breeze Avenue near Lewisburg on fire.

Fire investigators in Union County think the fire started near a water heater.

No one was inside at the time.

A state police fire marshal will investigate.
