OLYPHANT -- Two people are recovering in the hospital after a crash Monday evening in Lackawanna County.
It happened around 6 p.m. outside the Joe Wargo Sports Complex in Olyphant.
Police said a man in a jeep was speeding when he hit a parked car and went airborne. Witnesses claim the jeep was also doing donuts in a parking lot before hitting another parked car.
A woman in the first parked car was taken to the hospital and is expected to be fine. The driver of the jeep told police his accelerator got stuck. He was also hurt in the crash and was taken to the hospital.
Olyphant Police are still investigating.
