WBS Penguins with a 4-0 Shut Out vs. Providence in Game 5

The WBS Penguins in a must-win game 5 versus the Bruins… The baby Pens hoped their season didn’t end Saturday night…

First period,Brian Dumoulin pulls up in the right place at the right time and sweeps the puck past Niklas Svedberg – the Penguins grab goal number one and take the early lead!

Then just 6 minutes later, it’s Trevor Smith making a move and shooting it in. The Penguins now have a 2-0 lead after one period.

3rd period, it’s Adam Payerl adding to the Penguins tally with a shot to the back of the net and now its 3-0 Pens…

Then later in the 3rd… Paul Thompson shoots it past Svedberg and Svedberg isn’t very happy about it!! He takes his stick to Thompson and knocks him down…a cheap shot!!
and Thompson’s teammates won’t have it…
Nathan Smith and Graham Mink take on Svedberg with their sticks…
things are getting nasty on the ice…
and the two head coaches are happy either.. words were exchanged between the two benches… the Penguins go on to win it 4-0 forcing a Game 6…and you can expect the emotions to heighten!!
