SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP -- Dreary weather didn't keep people from revving up their engines and showing off their vehicles in Lackawanna County Sunday.

Money raised at the event goes towards helping children at the Scranton School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

The 10th annual car show was held near Clarks Summit.

About 80 vehicles were on hand at the show.

One participant says he only comes to car shows that help others.

"I always go to shows that are charitable shows. I like to support them because of the young children," said Thomas Killino, Old Forge. "We enjoy that very much."

There was also lots of food and raffle baskets at the show in Lackawanna County.
