TOWANDA — A 79-year-old and two sets of mother/daughter duos were among dozens of people arrested in a drug bust in the northern tier.
State police say 61 arrest warrants were served this morning on 42 people accused of dealing heroin, cocaine, marijuana, bath salts, methamphetamine and prescription drugs in Bradford County and New York State.
Police say the drug bust wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the community.
“It works when the community contacts us and gives us information. We’re able to conduct undercover investigations. It leads to operations like today and it takes a significant amount of drug dealers off the street,” said Trooper Martin Connors, Pennsylvania State Police.
State police are still looking for about 10 individuals with outstanding warrants in this drug round up in Bradford County.
