WILKES-BARRE — Police are investigating an incident in which a child in Wilkes-Barre suffered a gunshot wound to the hand.
Emergency dispatchers confirm that police were called to a home on Wayne Street in Wilkes-Barre shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday.
They say a boy, possibly as young as three, had been shot in the hand. He was taken to a hospital.
