Homeowner, Pets Safe After Fire

CARBONDALE -- Smoke and flames hit a home in Lackawanna County early Wednesday morning.

Flames started around 2:30 a.m. at a home on Belmont street in Carbondale.

Crews said a man and his pets were inside, but all got out okay.

A Lackawanna County fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause.
