Teen Flees Attempted Abductor

MIDDLEBURG — Police in Snyder County are investigating the attempted abduction of a teen.

According to Middleburg police, a 13-year-old boy was on his way to school on West Market Street around 8:30 a.m. Monday when a man tried to grab him. The boy was able to run away.

Police describe the man as 40 years old, 5’10” with a mustache, goatee and side burns, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black boots. They said he also has two small scars on his left forearm and one scar on his right forearm.
