PITTSTON -- Police have filed assault charges against a man they say attacked a woman in a parking lot in Luzerne County.
Charles Darr, 25, of Indiana was arraigned Monday afternoon.
Police believe Darr attacked a woman who was pumping gas Monday morning at Turkey Hill on South Main Street in Pittston.
When officers arrived, they say they used a stun gun on Darr twice with little effect. After shocking him a third time, they were able to take him into custody.
Darr was taken to the hospital for treatment and is locked up with bail set at $100,000.
