A man from Columbia County was killed, and his wife severely injured, in a crash near Philadelphia.
According to police, Phillip Shultz was driving near the Delaware state line in Delaware County Thursday night when he pulled into the path of another vehicle.
Shultz and his wife, Susan, were pinned in the car for a time.
He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Susan Shultz, a former councilwoman and Benton Borough Secretary, suffered serious injuries.
The other driver was also hurt in the crash in Delaware County.
